Wolf spiders are very common to this area. They can vary in color from gray to brown with various markings or lines on it’s back. They can also vary in size from half an inch to as much as 4 inches in total. The wolf spider does not spin a web, instead, the spider hunts it’s prey. The wolf spiders can be usually found inside a home through summer and fall due to a significant increase in temperature or as the temperature starts to drop the wolf spider will try to find a more comfortable place to over winter. According to entomologists these spiders are migrating indoors more than ever before due to the unusual hotter summers.
